Accessing the property dialog
To modify a model element, double-click the element in the Model Browser or in the document window. A dialog will then open, allowing you to change the properties of this element. In the following, the properties of the elements are explained using the properties dialogs.
Properties of the elements of the domain layer
Function

Object type

Organization Unit

Properties of the Logical Tool Layer Elements
Computer-based application component

ETMT combination

Component interface

| ETMT-ETDT-Combinations | A component interface can send or receive ETMT and ETDT combinations. These are displayed here and can be changed. However, this does not necessarily mean that these ETMT or ETDT combinations are actually transmitted or received. To add a new ETMT or ETDT combination to another component interface, select the desired element in the respective part of the window and use the button |
Communication link
Application components can exchange data with each other via component interfaces. If there is a connection between two component interfaces of two application components a communication link will be added.

User interface
Application components can exchange data with users via user interfaces. This is a subordinate element and can only be created by the context menu of an application component or in the property dialog of an application component.

Document collection
A document collection is a subordinate element of a paper-based application component, thus can only be created in the context menu of the paper-based application component.

Application program
Application programs are generated automatically by creating an application component. This can be seen in the property dialog of the application component.
